Hello! I'm Ryan and this is my blog. I was appointed as a Human Resources Management Student Trainee in the Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC) at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (MCAAP) on 22 June 2008. Since that appointment, I have learned so much and this semester I hope to learn even more about the ways in which public relations plays a role in my office and throughout the organization of MCAAP. Communication is vital in all of the Department of Defense (DoD) components and in my short time at the CPAC I have seen already how important strategic communication is to the Department of Army (DA).
